About this course

Cloud computing is the infrastructure underlying almost all modern digital services. It is a model for enabling on-demand access to scalable computing resources, including servers, storage, databases, networking and software, that organisations and individuals can provision rapidly without managing the physical hardware themselves. The discipline combines computer networking, distributed systems, virtualisation, security, database management and software architecture, and the professionals who design and manage cloud environments need to understand how all of these components work together at scale. This three-year full-time degree at Coventry University includes a sandwich year with a work placement and a year abroad, giving you substantial professional and international experience embedded in the programme.
