Physics with Artificial Intelligence with Foundation Year
BSc · University of Keele · 4 years
About this course
Artificial intelligence is transforming the practice of physics as much as it is transforming almost every other field, and this degree programme addresses that convergence directly. Physics remains one of the foundational disciplines of science, concerned with understanding the laws that govern matter, energy, space and time, from subatomic particles to the structure of the universe. Artificial intelligence, in the context of science, is not merely a computing tool but a new way of finding patterns in large datasets, constructing predictive models, and accelerating discovery across research domains that range from particle physics to climate science. You will study across four years of full-time study, building rigorous foundations in classical and modern physics while developing genuine expertise in machine learning, neural networks, data analysis and computational modelling.
