Cyber security is one of the most urgent and rapidly growing disciplines in the technology sector. As digital infrastructure has become central to economic activity, public services, and personal life, the threats to that infrastructure have grown in frequency, sophistication, and consequence. Cyber security professionals are responsible for protecting systems, networks, and data from attack, and for responding effectively when breaches occur. The field requires both a thorough technical understanding of computing systems and a strategic awareness of the threat landscape and the organisational contexts in which security decisions are made.
