Graphic design is the practice of visual communication, using image, typography, colour, and layout to convey information, create identity, and shape the way people experience and interact with the world around them. From logos and branding systems to book covers, packaging, websites, and wayfinding, graphic design is present in virtually every context where information needs to be communicated effectively. At its best, it combines aesthetic intelligence with strategic clarity, producing work that is both visually compelling and functionally purposeful.
