Robotics engineering is the discipline concerned with the design, construction, programming, and deployment of robots and intelligent autonomous systems. Robots are increasingly present in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, agriculture, space exploration, and domestic life, and the engineering expertise needed to build them draws on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and artificial intelligence.
