Accounting and finance addresses two of the most fundamental functions of any organisation: recording and reporting economic activity, and making decisions about how resources are allocated and valued over time. Accounting provides the systematic language through which organisations account for what they have done, while finance provides the analytical frameworks for deciding what to do next. Together they form the backbone of business and public sector management, and a degree that combines both equips you with a particularly versatile and employable set of skills.
