About this course
Cybersecurity and digital forensics is one of the most pressing technological fields of the age. As organisations and governments depend ever more heavily on digital systems, the threats posed by malicious actors, from data breaches and ransomware to state-sponsored attacks and fraud, have grown in scale and sophistication. Cybersecurity is concerned with protecting systems, networks, and data from these threats, while digital forensics applies investigative methods to recover evidence from digital devices and trace the activity of those who seek to exploit them. Together these disciplines form a critical line of defence.
