About this course

A graduate entry law degree is designed for people who already hold a degree in another subject and who wish to qualify in law in a shorter timeframe than a standard three-year programme. Law is the system of rules and principles that govern behaviour in society, and the study of it at degree level develops rigorous analytical thinking, precise written expression, and the ability to apply principles to complex and ambiguous facts. A graduate entry route recognises that mature students with existing academic skills and life experience can progress through the legal curriculum more efficiently. At Teesside University, this two-year full-time programme allows graduates from other disciplines to develop a legal education alongside the professional and personal maturity they bring from their prior experience. You will study the core areas of English law, including public law and constitution
