Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour and mental processes, examining how people think, feel, perceive, remember, learn and develop across the lifespan. It draws on biology, neuroscience, sociology and philosophy to address both fundamental questions about the human condition and practical challenges in health, education, work and public life. As a discipline, it combines careful experimental research with the close observation of how people actually live and behave.
