Business management is concerned with how organisations are structured, led, and operated, and with the decisions that determine whether they succeed or fail in complex and changing environments. The discipline draws on economics, psychology, and organisational theory to examine how resources are allocated, how people are motivated and coordinated, how markets are analysed and entered, and how strategy is developed and executed. Business management education at degree level develops both the technical knowledge of these areas and the leadership confidence and practical skills needed to apply that knowledge in real contexts.
