Veterinary science is one of the most demanding and rewarding degree programmes available, training you to diagnose, treat and prevent disease across a wide range of animal species while also developing a deep understanding of animal welfare, public health and the human-animal bond. The discipline draws on anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, surgery and clinical medicine, and it requires you to integrate scientific knowledge with practical clinical judgement under real conditions.
