About this course
Mathematics and computer science at the University of Oxford is one of the most intellectually demanding undergraduate programmes in the world. The two disciplines are deeply connected: computer science emerged from mathematics, and the most important advances in computation, from the theory of algorithms to machine learning and cryptography, rest on mathematical foundations. Studying them together at Oxford means engaging with both at their deepest level, in an environment where the tutorial system challenges you to think with rigour and independence from the very beginning.
