Politics with Economics with professional placement or study abroad
BSc · The University of Bath · 4 years
About this course
Politics and economics together form one of the most powerful analytical combinations for understanding how the modern world works. Politics examines power: who has it, how it is contested, how institutions are designed to constrain or concentrate it, and how collective decisions are made in democracies and other systems. Economics provides the tools to understand how resources are allocated, how incentives shape behaviour, and how policies produce their effects. Each discipline sharpens the other, and graduates who are fluent in both are exceptionally well placed for careers at the intersection of public life and analytical thinking. This four-year full-time programme at the University of Bath includes both a professional placement or study abroad option, giving you either substantial work experience in a relevant organisation or the opportunity to study at a partner institution abroad
