Sport, health and exercise sciences with business studies is a joint programme that brings together the biological, physiological and psychological sciences underpinning physical performance and wellbeing with the management, strategic and commercial knowledge that professional sports organisations demand from their graduates. The sciences of sport and exercise address how the body responds to training and competition, how nutrition and recovery affect performance, how psychological factors influence athletic achievement, and what exercise means for long-term health. Business studies adds the skills of leadership, finance, marketing and operational management that are needed to run sporting organisations effectively.
