Electronic engineering is the discipline that designs the devices and systems that underpin virtually everything in the modern world. Smartphones, medical imaging equipment, satellite communications, electric vehicles, industrial automation, and the computing infrastructure of the internet all rest on the work of electronic engineers who understand how circuits, signals, and systems can be designed to perform reliably and efficiently.
