Smartphones, medical imaging equipment, satellite communications, electric vehicles, industrial automation, and the computing infrastructure of the internet all rest on the work of electronic engineers who understand how circuits, signals, and systems can be designed to perform reliably and efficiently. It is a discipline that combines mathematical rigour with practical creativity, demanding both the ability to analyse complex systems theoretically and the skill to design and build things that actually work.
