Fine Art is the practice of making work that engages seriously with ideas, materials, and the world. It is a discipline rooted in visual and conceptual thinking, asking you to develop your own artistic voice while situating your practice within the broader history and theory of contemporary art. Unlike more applied creative subjects, Fine Art is concerned with the open-ended investigation of what images, objects, and experiences can mean and do, and it demands both intellectual rigour and a willingness to experiment and take risks.
