About this course

International relations and politics together offer one of the most comprehensive frameworks available for understanding how the world is governed and how power operates both within and between states. Politics examines the institutions, ideologies, and processes through which societies make collective decisions. International relations takes this further, asking how states, international organisations, and non-state actors manage their relationships, cooperate, compete, and sometimes come into conflict at a global scale. The two disciplines are deeply complementary, and the combination is particularly well suited to students who want to engage with the full range of questions that politics raises, from local democracy to global governance. At the University of Lincoln this three-year, full-time programme gives you the chance to examine some of the most interesting and important issues
