Psychology is the scientific discipline that examines how people think, feel, behave and interact with each other and with the environments they inhabit. It draws on experimental methods, statistical analysis and theoretical frameworks to address questions ranging from the neural mechanisms of perception to the social dynamics of group behaviour, and from the development of children's minds to the treatment of mental health difficulties.
