As organisations of every kind become more dependent on digital systems, the threats they face from malicious actors, from data breaches and ransomware to state-sponsored attacks and supply chain compromises, have grown commensurately in scale and sophistication. Cybersecurity professionals are responsible for understanding, preventing, detecting, and responding to these threats, and demand for their expertise significantly outstrips supply in every sector of the economy.
