About this course

Diagnostic radiography is a healthcare profession concerned with producing medical images that enable clinicians to diagnose and monitor a wide range of conditions. Radiographers use technologies including X-ray, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound to generate images of the body's internal structures, and they play a crucial role in the diagnostic pathway for patients presenting with everything from fractures and infections to cancer and cardiovascular disease. The profession requires technical expertise, clinical judgement and the ability to communicate sensitively with patients who are often anxious or unwell. At Coventry University, this three-year full-time programme prepares you for registration as a diagnostic radiographer.
