About this course

International relations and economics is a combination that addresses the architecture of the world we live in: how states and international institutions are organised, how power is exercised between them, and how the economic systems that connect and divide nations shape both prosperity and conflict. International relations examines the theory and practice of how states behave, how international institutions function, what drives war and cooperation, and how norms and law operate in the international system. Economics provides the analytical frameworks for understanding how markets, trade, financial flows and macroeconomic policy shape the fates of countries and their populations. At Roehampton University, this three-year full-time degree develops your analytical and critical skills across both disciplines, building the capacity to engage with the complexities of contemporary power dyn
