About this course
Web development and security address two of the most practically important aspects of modern computing. Web development is concerned with building the applications, platforms, and services that run on the internet, requiring skills in programming, interface design, databases, and the architectural decisions that determine how web systems function at scale. As organisations of every kind depend ever more heavily on internet-facing systems, the ability to develop them securely is increasingly essential. This four-year, full-time programme at Aberystwyth includes an integrated year in industry, which gives you the opportunity to apply your technical skills in a real professional environment before graduating.
