Advanced architectural technology is the discipline concerned with the technical realisation of buildings, bridging the creative vision of architecture with the engineering and management expertise needed to bring complex structures to completion safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Architectural technologists work across the entire building lifecycle, from initial design development and technical detailing through to construction administration and building performance evaluation. They are specialists in the technical aspects of building design, including structure, materials, environmental systems, and building regulations, and their skills are essential to any complex construction project.
