Studying it at degree level means developing both theoretical depth and practical programming ability, and the question of what to build with those skills is as important as the technical question of how to build it. An industrial placement year takes that question directly into professional practice, giving you a year of real engineering experience before you graduate. At the University of Dundee this five-year full-time programme with industrial placement is oriented around creation as much as study: you will not just learn computing but make with it, designing apps, systems, and tools that address real-world challenges. You will devel
