Manufacturing and mechanical engineering is a degree designed for those who want to understand not only how machines and systems are designed but how they are made. Mechanical engineering provides the foundational principles of force, motion, materials, and thermodynamics, while manufacturing engineering focuses on the processes, systems, and technologies through which physical products are brought into existence, from machining and forming to additive manufacture and automated assembly.
