Accounting and Business Management

About this course
Accounting and business management is a degree designed to develop two capabilities that sit at the heart of effective commercial leadership: the ability to understand, interpret, and use financial information, and the broader strategic and operational skills needed to manage organisations well. Sound strategic decisions depend on financial literacy, and financial expertise creates most value when it is informed by an understanding of how businesses actually work across their different functions. Combining the two disciplines produces graduates who can operate at the boundary of finance and management, which is where many of the most important commercial decisions are made. At the University of the West of England, Bristol you will study across three years on a full-time programme, with a sandwich year that places you in a professional environment and work placement activity integrated
