Economics and mathematics form one of the most demanding and intellectually rewarding combinations available at degree level. Economics uses mathematical tools extensively, from calculus and statistics through to game theory and econometrics, and a joint programme allows you to develop the mathematical foundations at the same time and with the same rigour as the economic theory that depends on them.
