About this course

Law with psychology is a combination that brings together two disciplines with a natural and productive relationship. Law governs how societies regulate behaviour and resolve disputes, while psychology investigates why people behave as they do in the first place. The intersection of the two fields is rich: questions about criminal responsibility, witness testimony, jury decision-making, mediation and restorative justice all depend on insights from both. Studying them together gives you a more complete picture of the human dimension of the legal system than either discipline could provide on its own.
