Dual-field nursing training in mental health and children's nursing prepares you to work across two of the most demanding and rewarding areas of healthcare, developing the breadth of clinical competence and the leadership capacity needed to practise effectively in both. Mental health nursing focuses on supporting people experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety, psychosis and personality disorders, working with individuals, families and communities. Children's nursing addresses the distinctive health needs of young people from birth through to early adulthood. Combining both fields within a leadership-focused degree produces nurses equipped to shape the environments in which they work, not only to deliver care but to improve it.
