Fashion design is a discipline that sits at the intersection of visual culture, material practice, and cultural critique. A garment is never just clothing: it is an expression of identity, a product of manufacturing decisions, a response to cultural codes and historical moments, and a participant in the global systems of production and consumption that raise some of the most pressing ethical and environmental questions of our time.
