About this course
Artificial intelligence has moved from a specialised research area to one of the defining technologies of our time, and computing science degrees with a dedicated AI focus are among the most in-demand in higher education. At the University of Aberdeen, this five-year full-time integrated master's programme combines a four-year BSc in computing science with an additional year of postgraduate-level study, allowing you to develop deep expertise in AI within a single coherent programme rather than returning for a separate master's degree. A year abroad is built into the structure, giving you the experience of studying at a partner institution and the intellectual and personal benefits that brings. You will build a strong foundation in programming, algorithms, data structures, software engineering and the mathematical underpinning of computing before specialising progressively in machine lea
