About this course
Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest and most foundational of all engineering disciplines, concerned with the design, analysis, manufacture, and maintenance of mechanical systems. From engines and turbines to robots, manufacturing machinery, biomedical devices, and renewable energy systems, mechanical engineers work on the physical systems that move, transform energy, and perform work. The discipline draws on mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, fluid dynamics, and mathematics, and it demands engineers who can apply these principles creatively to produce solutions that are economical, sustainable, and fit for purpose. This four-year, full-time MEng programme at Harper Adams develops mechanical engineering capability with a strong applied and practical emphasis. You will study core engineering principles and learn to use advanced simulation tools, applying them to real
