About this course

Economics at Manchester is offered as an interdisciplinary BA(Econ) that allows you to specialise in economics alongside another social science, choosing from philosophy, politics, sociology and other complementary fields. This structure reflects the belief that economics is most powerful when studied in conjunction with the disciplines that engage with the social and political worlds in which economic decisions are made and their consequences felt.
