Aeronautical engineering is the discipline concerned with the design, construction, operation, and safety of aircraft and the systems that support them. It brings together aerodynamics, structural mechanics, propulsion, materials science, avionics, and control systems engineering, demanding a rigorous foundation in mathematics and physics alongside the systems thinking to integrate these components into complete, safe, and efficient flying machines.
