About this course

If you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated by solving complex building challenges, our BSc (Hons) Building Surveying course is an excellent route into a professional career shaping, safeguarding, and improving the built environment. We are actively preparing submissions to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) for accreditation. The curriculum has been designed in alignment with the RICS professional requirements and CIOB education frameworks, helping to position graduates strongly as they progress toward chartered status through the appropriate professional pathways. You’ll learn how to advise on the design and construction of new buildings, alterations, and additions, with particular emphasis on regulatory compliance.
