Engineering and management is a degree that addresses a gap that matters enormously in modern industry. The world needs people who understand both the technical realities of engineering and the organisational, strategic and commercial dimensions of running engineering enterprises. Technical ability without management understanding limits how far an engineer can lead and influence. Management education without technical grounding can leave business leaders unable to engage credibly with the engineers and systems they oversee.
