Dual field nursing in adult and learning disabilities is an advanced and demanding route into professional practice that qualifies you to work across two distinct and important areas of nursing care. Adult nursing focuses on the care of people from late adolescence through to old age across acute, community, and specialist settings, while learning disabilities nursing is a highly person-centred field concerned with supporting people with a range of cognitive and developmental disabilities to live well and with dignity.
