About this course
Business management and marketing is a combination that reflects how the two disciplines work in practice. Management provides the organisational and strategic framework: how businesses are structured, how decisions are made, how performance is measured and how people are led. Marketing brings the outward-facing dimension: how organisations understand their customers, build their brands, communicate their value and position themselves in competitive markets. The two disciplines together produce graduates who can operate effectively across the internal and external dimensions of commercial organisations, understanding both the business logic of decisions and their market consequences. At the University of Hull, this four-year full-time degree, which includes a study abroad year, develops your understanding of both disciplines in an integrated way.
