Event management is the professional practice of planning, organising, and delivering events, from conferences and exhibitions to music festivals, sporting occasions, and corporate gatherings. The events industry is large and diverse, spanning the public, private, and voluntary sectors, and encompasses some of the most visible and commercially significant occasions in modern culture and business. Nottingham Trent University's three-year full-time Event Management programme develops the knowledge and practical skills required to work effectively across this industry. You will study the theory and practice of event planning, exploring how events are conceived, funded, marketed, staffed, and evaluated.
